As a country of art and fashion, the country of the Renaissance and Italy can be said to be one of the origins of world culture. In order to better communicate and understand designers from around the world, the Sarano City Government of Italy has organized this International Design Festival and sincerely invites design professionals, students, and designers from universities around the world, as well as those who are interested in design, to participate. The theme of this design festival is to promote the vigorous development of the global design industry and the innovation of design concepts. Providing a platform for participants to communicate and improve, the Saranto International Design Festival in Italy is committed to exploring and developing advanced design thinking and concepts in the field of design, and presenting practical results to the world.

Casarano City is located in the southern region of Saranto, Italy. It is an important industrial and economic center in the Saranto region, with a long history of various industries, exquisite technology, and unique design. All of them are important exports and domestic products of Italy. At the same time, the wine and olive oil produced by the developed agriculture in Casarano sell well worldwide, and the most famous Lecce School of Fine Arts and Lecce Conservatory of Music in Italy are all located in this region.

The Saranto Sino Italian Cultural Exchange Association, based on this design festival, emphasizes the importance of the integration of art and culture. It is an organization based on the art movement. The association invites domestic and foreign art theorists, artists, designers, art curators, and other individuals to use various means of communication, such as lectures, exhibitions, competitions, etc., to solve the current practical problems of art theory, art creation, art design, art derivatives, and art development. The association is committed to the entire country of Italy, relying on Italian and even European art resources, facing the world, and strengthening the attention of countries to cultural, artistic, environmental, social and other issues through cultural and artistic exchanges, as well as related exchanges.

The integration of environment and culture in the 21st century is a new artistic dream. Starting from the design and artistic life in the city, especially modern art, the integration is the culture of a few designers and artists, and also serves as a visual design starting point for society. Nowadays, design contributes to the communication between me and society in commodities, especially in urban regeneration policies, public art, and modern art, where nature and empathy are also inexplicably present in design and photography. So, there will be different answers to what "art of daily life" is, and this competition can help you answer it. Especially in daily life, we have created works that create civic engagement and spatial experiences through the digital realm of photography and design, where there is no boundary between life and art. Through the art of life, art and culture (ART&CULTURE), ecology (ECO), public art (PUBLIC ART), and art education (Art EDUCATION), participants are all valuable.

Each group is divided into: Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, Excellence Award, and Nomination Award. The list of winners will be announced on China Design Network, Baidu, and other platforms after the selection is completed,

1. Gold, Silver, Bronze Awards, Winners will be presented with trophies, medals, and award certificates

2. Award certificates will be issued to both outstanding and shortlisted winners

3. All winners will receive one edited book published by Sichuan University Press

4. All certificates will be signed by the Mayor of Casarano, Italy, and stamped with the official seal of the city government

Each of the four categories A, B, C, D, and E has one gold award, two silver awards, and five bronze awards. The number of outstanding awards/nominations depends on the number of participants

The design festival features an award ceremony and an exhibition of award-winning works. The exhibition of award-winning works will be held at the Office of the Municipal Government of Casarano, Italy, and the award ceremony will be held at the Conference Hall of the Municipal Government of Casarano.

All entries in this competition will be submitted through online email. Please fill out and submit the "Work Registration Form" and download the form. The email format is: participant name+category, and send it to salendesign @ 163.com
