At the China (Wuhu) Science and Technology Expo, an eye-catching digital art exhibition - "One Paper Boat - Contemporary Youth Art Exchange Exhibition between China and Italy" was grandly held on October 28, 2023 at the Livable International Expo Center, and successfully concluded.

This exhibition is jointly organized by domestic and foreign institutions such as LAP Laboratory Art Pubblica, All Italian Student Union, Lai Yi International Culture Co., Ltd., Italian Lecche Student Union, Saranto Sino Italian Cultural Exchange Association, etc. It gathers the exquisite creations of many young Chinese and Italian artists and presents an unprecedented visual feast for the audience.

Curators Lin Yimin (Laiyi International Culture Co., Ltd.) and Liu Yang (Shenyang Institute of Technology) jointly demonstrated outstanding curatorial skills in this exhibition. Through careful selection, organization, and presentation, they successfully created a digital art feast that integrates Chinese and Italian culture.

This exhibition has attracted the active participation of many young artists from both domestic and international sources, including some highly anticipated artists, including Professor Shi Kaida, Professor Liu Yang, who graduated from the Florence Academy of Fine Arts, Artist Zhu Chen, who graduated from the Leche Academy of Fine Arts, and Artist Sun Yumeng, who graduated from the Rome Academy of Fine Arts, among others. Their works present a rich and colorful artistic style, each with its own unique characteristics.

The successful holding of this digital art exhibition is due to the joint efforts of various participating institutions and artists, which has built a platform for cultural exchange between China and Italy. During the exhibition, we invited Professor Alisa from the Sculpture Department of the Naples Academy of Fine Arts and the founder of the LAP Public Art Permanent Laboratory to participate in this artist roundtable symposium. This symposium not only discussed the importance of cultural exchange between China and Italy, but also emphasized the innovation and foresight of cross-border cooperation in contemporary art. Professor Alisa is an outstanding professor in the video installation program at the Sculpture Department of the Naples Academy of Fine Arts, and her works are internationally renowned. Professor Alisa's works are renowned for their interdisciplinary and social significance, as she combines sculpture, video installations, performance, and social engagement, leading the forefront of modern art.
