Lecce, Italy, and the National Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce
Lecce is an ancient city located in the southern region of Priya, Italy, and is also the capital of the province of Lecce. It is a major city on the southeastern end of the Italian peninsula in the Sardinian Peninsula, with a history of over 2000 years. Lecce is known as "La Firenze del Sud" (Southern Florence) for its many important Baroque landmarks, such as the Basilica of the Holy Cross and the Cathedral of Lecce. The city also has an ancient Greek cultural tradition that can be traced back to its founding period; The Messapii people founded the city, and Greek history records show that the Cretans once came. Until today, a group of towns called "Grec ì a Salentina" located not far from Lecce still use Italian Greek (griko).
Under the careful arrangement of the Saranto Sino Italian Cultural Exchange Association, Vice Mayor Delli Noci of Leche warmly received Professor Wu Bin and his delegation, and had in-depth exchanges with the mayor at the Leche City Hall, jointly discussing the future joint art sketching exhibition activities between Chinese and Italian artists. The watercolor work "Quanzhou - City of Light" by Quanzhou painter Wu Bin will be permanently collected by the Leiche City Hall.
Quanzhou is the first "East Asian Cultural Capital" in China. It was first developed during the Zhou, Qin, and Han dynasties, and Dong'an County was established in 260 AD. During the Tang Dynasty, it was one of the four major ports in the world and was praised by Marco Polo as the city of light. During the Song and Yuan dynasties, it was the largest port in the East,
Relying on the unique advantages of local economy, trade, ports, and culture, it is one of the most important starting cities of the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
The rich and unique cultural relics of the Maritime Silk Road are precious resources of Quanzhou City. Quanzhou, the world's first "World Multicultural Exhibition Center" established by UNESCO, is building a "multicultural city that influences East Asia and faces the world.",
